Walter Hötzendorfer (RI) organized a workshop on “Mensch und IoT” at the anual IRIS Conference in Salzburg. Christoph Frauenberger and Christoph Tschohl discussed with other participants the relation of humans in a connected world.

First working meeting

First working meeting

Our first working meeting took place on 6th November at TU Vienna. Starting from the key terms of every participant, we developed a map of topics that are of relevance for COMPASS and NGI. This map will provide us some initial guidance when discussing the different perspectives of next generation internet-of-things solutions.

Project Kick-Off

Project Kick-Off

The project kick-off took place on October 9th at AIT. Twelf project members from the five involved parnters attended the meeting and discussed the shortcomings of todays technological development processes and how a value driven approach can be established on the different levels. Based on the project proposal, different negotiation spaces and stackeholders were identified, which will be addressed during the project. The project team prepared a time line for next steps and already identified different upcoming events where the project will be presented and discussions will be initiated. The meeting was closed with a joint lunch in the warm authumn sun.
